- To restore reproductive functions and the hormonal cycle after calving;
- To prevent bleeding;
- To shorten the time of placenta expulsion;
- To shorten the service period;
- To prevent metritis and endometritis.
Mechanism of action:
To restore reproductive functions in cows after calving, it is necessary to ensure complete uterine cleansing and timely involution close to physiological norms, as well as the restoration of the body’s hormonal status.
The component complex of Bovino Repro stimulates the contractile activity of the uterine smooth muscles, ensuring the most effective cleansing.
Essential oils and plant extracts increase elasticity and strength of uterine blood vessels, preventing bleeding and the penetration of pathogens into the bloodstream. They also provide bacteriostatic and bactericidal action, significantly reducing infection risks.
Thanks to the complex effect, Bovino Repro boluses create conditions for timely regeneration of the uterine mucosa and its involution. The state of these tissues affects prostaglandin production, which regulates the reproductive cycle. This, in turn, prevents persistent corpus luteum formation and normalizes estrous cycles during lactation.
Dosage:
Bovino Repro concentrate is administered according to the following scheme:
- In the first hours after calving;
- 2 boluses per animal.
Repeat administration is allowed 10–12 hours later in cases of difficult calving.
