Bovino Prim is a vitamin-mineral concentrate in the form of individual boluses, designed to normalize metabolic processes, prevent ketosis, steatosis, and fatty liver dystrophy in lactating cows after calving and during the transition period.
Form of release: 10 boluses weighing 64 g each.
Packaging: Individually sealed packets, then packed in foam containers and cardboard boxes.
Storage conditions: Store in the original packaging at temperatures from +1°C to +25°C. Shelf life — 24 months.
Composition:
All active substances have hepatoprotective properties.
Vitamins (PP, B9, C), minerals (Mg, Mn, Co), cofactors and direct participants of the Krebs cycle, plant extracts, and essential oils for optimizing energy metabolism.
Indications for use:
- For prevention of metabolic liver disorders (steatosis, fatty infiltration);
- To activate energy metabolism in cows during the transition period;
- To support milk fat synthesis and increase milk productivity;
- For ketosis prevention;
- To increase dry matter intake from the diet;
- To reduce the rate of ketone body formation.
Mechanism of action:
The effect of Bovino Prim is based on the guaranteed supply of physiologically justified amounts of active substances to the animal’s body. These improve lipid metabolism efficiency, reducing concentrations of under-oxidized fat metabolism products and preventing fatty liver dystrophy.
The combined action of the active components included in Bovino Prim helps optimize energy metabolism.
Dosage:
Bovino Prim boluses are administered individually into the rumen using an applicator according to the following scheme:
- On days 3–7 after calving;
- 2 boluses once.
Repeated administration after 3–7 days is possible if indicated.
